Heirloom Puzzle

Whether you buy our simplest puzzle or our largest and most intricate, your puzzle will be crafted, from the same premium quality  6mm (~1/4") five ply Baltic Birch plywood, imported from Finland.  Those who have assembled our puzzles have told us that they love the "look and feel" of the puzzle pieces from Heirloom Puzzle.

We can make a puzzle from almost any photograph or artwork of yours.  Pictures of your loved ones, pets, your home, vacation memories, and family reunions are all popular custom puzzle subjects.  Or, perhaps use your child's favorite art rendering.We will turn it into a beautiful, durable wood puzzle.

Heirloom Puzzle can cut wooden puzzles in sizes from 3"x5" and up.  Our prices for rectangular puzzles from 5"x7" through 12"x16 are shown on our price list.

Puzzle size and piece size are two separate things.  Any puzzle size can be cut with smaller pieces, which creates a more intricate puzzle, that is challenging to assemble.  Or, the same puzzle size can be cut with fewer, larger pieces, which will be easier to put together.  We offer five sizes of puzzle pieces. 

We can cut puzzles to almost any shape.  Of course, the simpler shapes, such as our rectangles and hearts, will be the  most affordable.  The prices for these puzzles are shown on our Heirloom Puzzle price list.

You can also choose the approximate piece count for your wooden jigsaw-type puzzle from Heirloom Puzzle.  Of course, because each puzzle is unique and handmade, the piece count is only approximate.  A 250 piece puzzle might have 245 pieces or 255 pieces,  or something like, for example.

As you have probably figured out, there is a relationship between piece count, puzzle size and piece size.  Any two of these factors will determine the third.

Our most inexpensive puzzles naturally come with straight or smooth borders, as in our heart, circular, and rectangular puzzle prices seen on the price list on our "Order" page.  However, for an additional charge we can cut ornate edges like those seen here.  Contact us to learn more or obain a quote.  These ornate edges are especially appropriate for those who like challenging puzzles because the lack of straight edges makes it more difficult to put the puzzle together.
